Eat Bulaga’s HBD Girl finally talks about her leaving the show

Former host of Eat Bulaga, who is also known as ‘Happy Birthday Girl’, speaks about her leaving the show.

She said in an interview, “Change is inevitable and everything is temporary. So as long as it’s for the better, then go.”

Last March 22, Tumulak was formally introduced by GMA Network Center as their newest artist wherein she referred to on her interview and added, “For me, timing is everything and change is good. Personal din naman siya, but I’m happy with the result.

‘Yung mga dabarkads supportive sakin.” [For me, timing is everything and change is good. It was also personal, and I’m happy with the result. Even the dabarkads (Eat bulaga co-hosts) were very supportive.

She also stated that she misses her co-hosts but is very grateful on the people behind GMA Artist Center for being one of the ‘Kapuso’ artists, "Siyempre nami-miss ko sila, iba ang live eh, iba ‘yung energy na nakakatawa and nag-uusap naman kami.” [Ofcourse, I miss them. Live (on-air show) and the fun energy are different and we still talk.

She also added, “It took me quite some time, siyempre kailangan ko muna rest before saying yes to this one. So hindi pa ako makapag-comment kasi hindi pa nagsi-sink in, hindi pa ako nakapagsimula pero sana hindi naman drastic change compared before, pero mainit ‘yung pagtanggap from the staff kanila Ms. Gigi Santiago-Lara, super grateful.”

It took me quite some time, ofcourse I need some rest before saying yes to this one. I can’t tell my immediate response because it’s not yet sinking in. But I hope it’s not a drastic change compared before, but the staff are very welcoming. To Ms. Gigi Santiago-Lara, I am super grateful.

For two long years, she was part of the longest running noontime show as one of its hosts but disappeared suddenly, leaving some of the netizens in confusion wherein some of them even bashed the female host for believing on some rumors that she was in a relationship with the Pambansang Bae, Alden Richards.

She was known in the show as the so called “HBD Girl” through its segment where she would greet some of the audience a ‘Happy Birthday’ on-air. All of these started when she was discovered by the show from a softdrink brand commercial.

Before she became a host, she was one of the top Five finalists of Miss Philippines Earth 2009 and was crowned Miss Philippines Fire 2009. She also graduated at Miriam College with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Education minor in Special Education.

We already have seen her on some of GMA shows like Super Ma’am, so definitely a woman with beauty and brains will most likely to be casted on some of their telenovelas.
